Well that concludes the MaDneSs for 2023. For those of you who received a payout, I'm sure you had more fun than those who didn't. However, even those of you that didn't reach the podium, I hope you found enough entertainment, at a minimal cost mind you, to do it all over again in 2024. We'll even ask the Board to impose a 3 pick handicap on Will-I-Am Fergi-son in 2024, that should guarantee all of you returning.
I'm not on social media so I'm not in the hunt for 'likes' or asking you to 'subscribe' but I do like feedback. Upcoming Events
This pool is a combination of College and NFL football games. A handful of Saturday College games will be included along with the entire NFL schedule. All the college games will involve a spread, while the NFL games are a straight pick, unless they have a spread of 5.5 pts or HIGHER. Entry fee for a season of entertainment - $82.00.
$25 gets you in the Survivor Pool and all you need to do is pick one winner each week until we have one Survivor. You get 2 strikes in this pool. So the first time you pick a team that loses you have one strike, however if you pick a loser a second time, well you're Outta Da Pool.
$20 per Family will get you entry to this Pool - 2 Man Combined Score of the Weekly Pick'em Pool, although we encourage family participation its not required. As a matter of fact, 2 friends since the 5th grade won in 2019.
$20.00 will get you entry and the Pool is simple. Just pick the NFL team you think will score the most points. Pick wisely because you can only pick a team once. *NOTE - Special Covid Rule Changes
Rak MaDneSs Pool Summaries
FAMILY MATTERS POOL – $20 per Family will get you entry to this Pool – 2 Man Combined Score of the Weekly Pick’em Pool, although we encourage family participation its not required. As a matter of fact, 2 friends since the 5th grade won in 2019.
SURVIVOR POOL – $25 gets you in the Survivor Pool and all you need to do is pick one winner each week until we have one Survivor. You even get 2 strikes in this pool. All the college games will involve a spread, while the NFL games are a straight pick, unless they have a spread of 5.5 pts or HIGHER. Entry fee for a season of entertainment remains at $78.00.
NFL POINTS POOL – $20.00 will get you entry into the NFL Points Pool, a Chris D Rakoczy creation from 12 yrs ago. The Points Pool is a simple game. All you need to do is pick the NFL team you think will score the most points for that week. Pick wisely because you can only pick a team once. Looks easy and is easy so why don’t you play?
